Cake N Joy operates through multiple franchise stores, each handling daily sales, inventory, orders, and customer interactions. The challenge was to bring consistency and control across all franchise operations while keeping the system simple enough for daily use at the store level.
To address this, we built a dedicated franchise mobile app for store admins and a centralized web portal for the main admin—creating a connected ecosystem that supports visibility, accountability, and smooth operations across locations.

Managing a franchise network requires more than just order tracking. Cake N Joy needed a system that could handle purchases, sales, returns, inventory, and deliveries—while maintaining uniform processes across all stores.
The solution was designed to standardize daily workflows without making them rigid. Each franchise operates independently, but within a structured system defined by the central admin.

The franchise-side mobile app serves as the operational hub for each store. From the home dashboard, franchise admins can quickly access core functions such as store purchases, store sales, returns, inventory management, advance order history, and same-day deliveries.
The interface is intentionally clean and task-focused, allowing store staff to perform daily actions quickly without navigating complex menus. This reduces training time and ensures consistency across different franchise locations.
The design avoids clutter and complexity. Instead of deep navigation or layered screens, actions are placed where store staff naturally expect them.

Each franchise admin has access to a structured account section where they can view invoicing history, order history, return records, and store accounts. This transparency helps franchise owners track performance, resolve discrepancies, and maintain clear records without relying on manual logs or external tools.

Inventory is one of the most sensitive parts of daily franchise operations. Cake N Joy stores deal with multiple product types—hot items, cold items, and other packaged goods—each requiring different handling and tracking. This inventory module was designed to reflect that reality rather than forcing a generic stock system.
The inventory experience starts with clear categorization. Store admins can quickly navigate between item groups such as hot, cold, and other items, reducing search time and preventing errors during busy hours. Once inside a category, items are presented in a clean, searchable list with clear visual identification, making it easy to locate products instantly.
