Project overview
Dr. Charu Garg’s website was developed to bring the doctor’s professional portfolio, appointment booking, and patient care management into one connected digital platform.
The platform allows visitors to explore dermatology services, check appointment availability, and book time slots online. Registered patients can manage their appointments through a dedicated dashboard, communicate with the doctor using an integrated chat system, and access PDF documents generated through the portal.
On the administrative side, the doctor can manage appointments, patient interactions, services, pricing, and slot availability through a centralized system.
Built with the MERN stack, the platform connects the public website with the patient and administrative portals to create a more organized and accessible healthcare experience.

Connecting a Doctor’s Online Presence With Patient Care
A traditional portfolio website provides information about a doctor but does not necessarily support the complete appointment and patient management journey. The project required a unified platform where visitors could discover services, book appointments, and continue managing their healthcare interactions after booking.

Appointment coordination: Making available and booked time slots clear to patients.
Patient accessibility: Providing a dedicated dashboard for current and previous appointments.
Ongoing communication: Enabling doctor–patient conversations with support for image and PDF attachments.
